civil matters: north vs. south

12: 58 a. m. A woman on S. W. Diamond Drive reported two men in her attic messing with her thermostat and hurting her sore foot.

6:06 p.m. – A women called police from an upper-Spring St. residence and said she thinks someone may be living in her cellar.

11:19 p.m. – Upstairs residents of a Pivot Rock Rd. apartment called police to complain about a downstairs neighbor as the downstairs neighbor called police to complain about her upstairs neighbor and the responding officer described the situation as a “civil matter.”

8: 22 p. m. A caller at 10 S. Willow Ave. reported a man running after a neighbor with a stick yelling, “KKK !”

election day fallout

5: 11 p. m. A caller on North Lewis Avenue reported youths burning political signs.

11: 28 a. m. A woman at 1106 N. E. Fillmore St. reported her cat was trapped in furniture and she couldn’t lift it to get it out.

12: 32 p. m. A woman at Regions Bank, 203 S. Walton Blvd., reported the bank drilled some safety deposit boxes and found drugs.

2: 54 p. m. A woman at 1401 Phyllis St. reported an elderly man had a gun in his pants.
